Andreas trained them over onto the new arbor (he built it to replace the old, dilapidated one) and rooted them to a more ideal location. One of the old-growth died eventually, and the other one is slated to be cut down when we are happy with the alternate establishment of a new root base.
Meanwhile, we have planted also seedless concord, Canadice, and one or two other varieties, and learned a lot about grapes. What we like to do with them is make raisins and grape juice. We don't really drink wine (I have tried to make wine upon occasion and do it semi regularly just as a way to use grapes), but we like grape jelly, grape soda (water kefir), and can 100 to 200 quarts of juice each fall for year-round drinking.
